This is a very unique service that if carried out on it’s own or,if combined with gait analysis or bike setup, gives you the athlete all the information you need about how fit you are now, your training zones and how to train using these zones.

Running

The running testing involves a steady increase in the workload until you cant do anymore whilst recording data suchas heartrate. The data will then be analysed and all the relevant information sent to you.

  • predicted aerobic threshold or easy run pace
  • predicted lactate threshold or race pace
  • ‘m- fitness’ – your fitness factor number which shows how much more effort the heart has to give per increase in speed. This is unique to you but when re-testing shows us how fitter you’re getting.
  • your unique training zones if using a heartrate monitor

Biking

This will involve a 10 mile time trail to assess your current fitness level followed by a maximal test to determine your aerobic and lactate threshold levels.

This will give you the same information as for the running tests.
